Afternoon of a Faun
Youtube is a poor substitute for my magical one wish in life: to go back in time and see Nijinsky dance one of Fokine's ballets (although, I perhaps would settle to see Nijinsky dance his own "Sacre du Printemps.") This is Nureyev, but I cannot think of another male dancer who had the same overwhelming masculine/feminine power as Nijinsky. It's not all hype, right? Anyway, at least some recorded Nureyev performances exist:
This is how I would like to spend my afternoons from now on, like a faun.

duder.
Here's the pilot of an online show called Duder, hosted by Superdeluxe.com. The creators describe it as "web sitcom about youngish duders who do things and don't do things, etc." It's witty and creative, with debts to Seinfeld and Noah Baumbach's "Kicking and Screaming". There are a lot of great characters, but my favorite is the gay virgin. Russian History majors (cough) will enjoy the Communist party. We should have one of those.
